Which? declares Bosch bulbs a ‘Best Buy’

Which?, the largest independent consumer organisation in the UK, has recommended Bosch’s Pure Light H7 headlight bulbs as a ‘Best Buy’.

A popular family car was tested with a range of car headlight bulbs, including the original equipment H7 bulbs and a number of upgrade bulbs from aftermarket competitors.

The Bosch Pure Light bulbs achieved the highest score – based on lux readings – on dipped beam, emitting 55 percent more light than the original equipment bulbs and 38 percent more than the nearest competitors’ halogen bulb.

The Pure Light H7 bulbs also scored very well on the main beam test, producing 15 percent more light than the original equipment bulbs.

Which? commented that the Bosch Pure Light bulbs’ competitive pricing meant they had “no hesitation in recommending them as a Best Buy”.
